tools version is not as good as the song itself. The singer messes up the verses. i dont like the effect of they put on the vioce, the gutiar sound for the solo is total crap, but everything else is ok i geuss. i cant belive im on the 3rd page and you ppl are comparing bands, grow up My dad told me something intereting about his interpitation of john bonham as a person he told me john bonham was an idiot stupid drunk, and that even though he was an awsome drummer and started a rock revolution he is still a dumbass. He had a son, a wife, a fabulous rock star life, played drums in LED ZEPPLIN and he still drunk to his death. I partly agree with this. That was pretty damn stupid. imagine what they could be like today. Sad way to go eh? Im the last person that would bash bonzo, but i just thought that would be interesting to mention since this is the Montreux forum, not the compare all the bands forum |

the studio isnt that great. its fucken great, but the live is better. i love this song. A lot of people at my school are real zepplin fan wanna-be's(especially freshman). They dont really appriciate this song. i dont really think this song is really about love. I think its about trying to move up from the worse point in your life and relizing that you screwed up and dwelling on it, but then getting on your feet and going for another shot |
