i completely agree with niltathra, i think the song is a comparison of how a soldier and a civilian experience war. this is one of my favourite songs off black holes and revelations, it's just so beautiful and it makes me feel angry and sad at the same time. i think it's "when you know damn well that this is wrong" though. |

the saddest part about this song is that it really is autobiographical :( i think if i had expereinced that, i coulnd't talk/sing about it like patrick does..i would probably just try to forget it. i9 really admire patrick wolf because i think it takes a lot of strength to actually write a song about those things. |
