my name is mike and a 21 yr old from england. i don't think this song concentrates on politics as much as the rest of the album but it still incorporates their influences on us in it. to me this song is about the illusion of reality that we create for ourselves. it is about the 'single consciousness' that all humans are a seperated piece of, and the world around us made from mass which really when boiled down to 'empty' atoms is really just a holographic image made from energy as opposed to light as it is in holograms. we are all manipulated together in our collective consciousness to believe that this condensed energy is really solid and therefore we manifest that reality. the governments and the powers above our governments create our world view through media and subliminals which TELL us what to think therefore creating the world that they want to exist when really the world we want is a competely different thing altogether. Stay away from me Build a fortress and shield your beliefs -the people displaying ignorance when told what i have just written and remaining separated from the 'divine' consciousness as the idea conflicts with their personal belief system Touch the divine As we fall in line - realisation of the single consciousness as we re-connect with it and return finally to nature and leave behind free will. wicked tune. one of strung outs best. To me this song is about how fragile life is. How all life on this planet is lucky to be here and the thin thread we dangle on. It is asking a question "Are we ever gonna become something better than what we've become?" Are we going to evolve to something better or continue our life of conveniance and become weaker? How powerless are we to change the world? Or are we isolated and without control over what we are... anyway im starting to ramble |
