listen to faithful and tremor christ, eddie clearly does not beleive in jesus. he doesn't like the religous right and wouldnt write a song about jesus out of nowhere. his songs have all kinds of negative statements about religion.
he attacks religion in glorified g, do the evolution, and porch. why would a guy who wrote " im a thief im a lier theres my church i sing in the choir" write a song about jesus? |

the guitar in this song kicks major ass. anyone else notice that in this song he says "if i had known then what i know now", and in i'm open he says "if i only knew now what i knew then". maybe hes saying that your wiser as a child than you are as an adult. maybe thats something important to realize if you want to become enligtened, that you have as much to learn from your childhood as you do from your adulthood. |
