donthinktwice & sxe chicana said something about conor never being in love/they couldn't believe that was true because of all the songs he had written. well, i for one, believe that conor's songs aren't always/ever based off of exact events. i think they are merely one-sided stories or rather experiences that conor has gone through himself. which may just have been these simple ideas in his head. for example there was also a recording on one of his songs about 'arienette' and how she wasn't real, or had never existed.. just that there were certain things he would not say in case she was listening. to sort of tie these two together, i believe he has a dream of this girl, or girls, he writes songs about. maybe he's seen her, and never talked to her. it's kind of like observing someone you see everyday, and absolutely adore for what ever reason, but only from afar.. because if you were to talk to that person, the actual person wouldn't be nearly as good as the dream you have of them, made up in your head. did that make any sense? haha |
