i think manson summed it up in the album. "my hate pop won't ever stop" and when somebody can create an album which gives people a sense of reality and realise that there is more out there he's done his job. Who cares if 13 year olds listen to this. he cant help that. people want to be percieved as cool and hardcore and manson makes them seem that way but this album was brilliant you guys shouldn't bag it because what you might hate may be anothers passion. |

he wasn't paul on the wonder years. read his book. he didnt cut his nuts off and the song is about him feeling towards his family. "the boy that you loved was the man that you fear." jesus fucking christ could he be much more obvious. he explains in his biography that he felt alone when he returned to his home town to attend his cousin chad's wedding. he was outcast from his family as was his grandfather before him (read the book to understand the gorey details). he was outcast by his family because he ended up so different and felt that his family was frightened of him. he came up with teh chorus at this point. "peel off all those eyes" sounds like hes saying stop watching me im just normal like you. i dont know if this song intended to be on the album but found its way on there as mansons time on the cd was depressing him and some destructive things happened to him. |

i think the song is written from teh position of a vampire. someone becoming a vampire maybe. "beyond and to all time i stand" says i live forever almost. "what sucks out the colour in me" blood being drained. "who awakes tonight eternally?" i just think its about a vampire |
