I'm seeing Coheed and Cambria on the 25th of March! I'm so excited. | No comments? I used to be obsessed with this song a few years back. I've been looking for it forever and I still haven't found it. The lyrics are great but I have no idea what they mean. I think this song is about how he's trying to see his ex-girlfriend, but something is stopping him, hence "there's strangers up ahead, holding up a knife trying to keep, trying to keep me away from you". All he wants is for his ex to see him but he can't because he's dead. |

This is the song that changed my music taste forever. I was obsessed with Hands Down two years ago. It was the first 'emo' song I heard and I couldn't get enough of it. I checked out Dashboard's other songs and they all sucked so I moved onto different bands. Now, instead of listening to Blink182 I listen to From First to Last and Finch and Story of the Year and Rise Against and .. Yeah. Well the list could go on. Though I absolutely can't stand this song anymore (the sappy lyrics and whiney voice drive me INSANE), I'm still very happy that I heard it in the first place, because if I never had then I'd still be stuck listening to Blink182 and Sum41! :) |
