the song isn't called judith because of a bible character, this song is about maynards mother judith marie keenan/garrison. who was very religious and about 15 years ago (or something like that) she was put into a wheel chair but still managed to keep faith in religion and god (praise the one who left you broken down and paralyzed, he did it all for you). don't think this is my take on the meaning of the song, this was asked then stated by maynard himself in an interview back in 2000 when mer de noms came out. |

it sounds like the never ending quest for freedom, like a revolution. i mean the fact that it's an ex-member of RATM there's probably a deeper maning than that, but thats just what i get from the lyrics. |
