Great song, good choice to win the Eurovision Song Contest. I'm from the UK and although our choice (Daz Sampson) was alright, rap music is never going to win a contest for SINGING. There's many other and better artists out in the UK, why we chose him over the others I'll never know. Maybe they were high on something? |

| Hilary Duff – My Generation (The Who cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Ok, so I've just heard this song and it is quite good. A lot of people have slated Hilary for singing it, called the cover rubbish etc. but she sings it quite well. Green Day still has the best version of the Who's song in my opinion, but Hilary did well on this cover. I also notice that she says "I hope I DON'T die before I get old". For people who haven't heard the original the line is "I hope I die before I get old". Obviously Hilary wants to live a long time. |

| Alkaline Trio – Emma Lyrics | 20 years ago |

I have one thing to say: What a chorus. I though the chorus for "Sadie" was amazing. This tops it. Thinking about it, both the songs "Sadie" and "Emma" have good choruses and both feature a female name in the title (though I think everyone noticed the latter :P) |

| Alkaline Trio – Halloween Lyrics | 20 years ago |

It's a cover? I thought it didn't sound very "Alky". Anyway, I downloaded this song yesterday (found it by chance - I wasn't even looking for it) and I did find it a bit "morbid" to start with, but listening to it again... It's not morbid. It's rather good actually. To find this song (if it's only on vinyl) I'm going to say one word: LimeWire. Think about it. |

| The Sounds – Hope You're Happy Now Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This song rocks! It's well put together. Well, this song is obviously about being pissed off at someone but the main meaning is deeper - I haven't figured out that yet :/ | |
| The Sounds – Hit Me Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Hm... I'm not too sure what she's (Maja - the singer) getting at here... Could be many things... Anyone have any theories? Though about the music - the solo at the start rocks! Video's not bad neither. |

| The Sounds – Seven Days a Week Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
girlfriend? I read somewhere that she had a boyfriend. It sounds [lol] to me that it's about her best friend and sticking by her and helping her through things no matter what. The line "I've been think about you and what you've been up to" could mean that she is worrying about her friend. I get this from the line "girl you're living in danger". My interpretation. :/ Great band! |

| Green Day – Wake Me Up When September Ends Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Billie Joe's dad died of cancer in September 1982. Hence "Wake Me Up when September Ends". It's a painful time for Billie Joe and he can't wait for September to pass. From the album's story's point of view: Whatsername has just split with JoS (or st. jimmy as some of you have called him) and he is distraught at the loss of their relationship and can't forget about it. The "Like my father's come to pass" signals that JoS' father must've died earlier on in his life (as in the song "JoS" earlier on [track 2] says 'whilst the Moms and Brads are away - this signals that it isn't JoS' father that his mother is with but someone called Brad). Possibly Billie Joe wanted to make a part of JoS' life similar to his. This is my interpretation of the song so it may or may not be true. One thing is for sure though - it is about Billie Joe's father as I've heard him say it. Just to clarify, I am a Green Day fan (sorry couldn't resist) |

| Busted – What I Go To School For Lyrics | 20 years ago |

Busted's debut song... Catchy but the drumming is a bit weak... I think the first verse could've been sung without music... Good though. |

| Busted – Losing You Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Ok I am a Busted fan but this song isn't brilliant... I do admit that this could've been sung by Westlife, had it have been sung by someone from the fifties. It is about losing someone and not knowing what to do to stop it from happening. |

| Busted – Falling For You Lyrics | 20 years ago |

No no I can say it better than you two losers put together. BUSTED ROCK, YOU SUCK. Now piss off before you have a paddy on the floor. It's about Busted falling for this girl. |

| Busted – Who's David Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Lyrics are wrong... The 'whore' in there is actually 'bitch'. Oh and in the uncut version It is (instead of 'somebody saw') 'You're just a whore'. Anyway... Mindless Busted Haters seem to be breeding. There's more and more each day. This song is about someone who has been cheating behind this person's back. |

| Busted – 3 AM Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Er, actually the reason they don't say shit is because the record company makes them block it out. If any of you losers that hate Busted actually head them in a proper concert you'd find that they say shit and f*** and a whole host of swear words. Oh this is about wanting someone back that'd split up with you and first feeling anger then regret. Oh who cares what it's about? |

| Busted – She Wants To Be Me Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Sorry, but Muse is not good. Please Muse fans, listen to Green Day. Or Bad Religion. Now they are good bands. Anyway onto Busted... Charlie described this song: Ok guys, we're going to sing this song. It's about a girl who went through the process of a sex change so she could be like us, bit strange but, er.. ha.. It's called She Wants To Be Me. And James pipes up: It's called She Wanna Be Me actually. Lol, did anyone see the video playing on the screen behind Busted on their DVD when they played She Wants To Be Me? Really funny. |

| Busted – Teenage Kicks Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| A good cover of a song by the Undertones. Played live by Busted at the Brit Awards. Many people say that this is a disgrace to the Undertones, but I personally think it's a good version. | |
| Busted – Mrs. Robinson Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This is a cover of a Simon and Garfunkel song. | |
| Busted – Last Summer Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Right this song's story is: This guy (either James, Matt or Charlie) fell for this girl he met last summer and they became really close but now 'a year has passed' and she has forgotten him and he means nothing to her. It's about how people are when they become popular, how they forget those that they consider inferior. | |
| Green Day – Road to Acceptance Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Sounds like it's about wanting to be accepted and changing yourself to be liekd by other people. | |
| Treble Charger – American Psycho Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Yes thelyrics are incorrect but 'There’s something funny about you I should've known better to doubt you And not "I'd heard the end of it".' Does appear in the live versions of American Psycho. This song is about celebrities and how cool they think they are. Or so I heard. |
