| I agree that their old stuff was really good, but the way they transist their music into different styles is what they want. They won't go back just because someone doesn't like the new stuff. And btw, they are still very good. It's as deep as they go, without the spasticness we've come to love from them. You do realize that we don't care what you think and you shouldn't care what we think about In Flames because while we're arguing, they're still writing decent - very good songs and they are still my favorite band. This one stands out on the new album. I think some of it sucks a bit, but at least they've slowed down to where they can pick up new fans that like that style along with their old fans who will never leave them because those old albums will still be here. | |

I believe this song is about Suicide and how you can hide the pain by ending your life. The sickness he refers to is the need for a release which he believes is through suicide. Everything goes dark as he says, as he yells a desperate cry for an answer to his question: How did I get this far? I love you In Flames.. you push me away from the edge before I fall and encourage me to go on with my life. |
