"You know the end is creeping up when all that you can feel
were the faint reminisce to touching her wishing they were real”
And I agree with the idea of this being about a death of a girl, j5gaydos points it out directly. This song is simply amazing, I wonder why id didnt make the album as a song instead of "PC only" - nevertheless, its a brilliant track. |

Nice research BluFire - after that bit of info, you gotta love how Stephen intergrated heroin in the song. He probably wants it to be taken as heroine - like a female hero, but using the whole heroin (as a drug and addiction) to illustrate how he is so hooked on her and her "glances". Genious. |

This song is amazing! I think its about someone who was leeching on to (Chris in this case) and used to control him and turned him into someone who he is not. But in this song, he's explaining how he's taking his separate ways in where he is himself - and not the person who was "created".
Personally, I think this song is centered around individuality and understanding that its not necessary to follow other people's perceptions on what a proper person is - just be yourself.
This is by far my favorite song on the album, the singing is amazing, riffs are awsome!, simply a great track. |

I think its about ending a relationship with a control-freak of a partner. I dont have full confidence in that idea, but I just got the CD and thats what I got out of the song so far, I have to keep analyzing this song - its my favorite so far. |

I think its about 2 people, 1 who appears like a nobody who just works a minimum wage job who spends their paychecks on alcohol. The 2nd person (main speaker) is telling him how dissapointed he is in him and to stand up from people's expectations of him and do something with his life. |

"Burning Up", I thought it was called "Still walking after you", thats the title I found it under. No difference though, different titles, still the same great song. |

I agree TRAGICxROMANCE, I was in shock when I heard those lines, I had to rewind it a few times because I thought I misheard. Like you guys said, this is the biggest sign of fate if you ask me. These 2 were about to take their lives, but they are stopped by one another - if thats not the biggest sign of destiny then I dont know what is.
I dont know about you guys, but TSC gives me the chills every time I listen to them, Nick composes the most powerful lyrics with the most orchestraic melodies, I dont know how he does it but he gets to me every time. |

one amazing break-up song. Nick is basically talking about all the great things they had going in the begginning of the relationship, but as time passed - the love they had began to fall apart.
The entire song is amazing, but I felt it really came through in the 2nd to last verse ("For what its worth...I always loved you") is simply amazing. Its Nick reflecting and telling "her" his deepest feelings. I think the his soft tone really emphasizes the extent of his feelings. Then the chorus hits....BRILLIANT!!! (gave me the chills!!!) |

This was (believe it or not) the 1st song I heard from this phenomenal band and all i can say is...nothing because I am speechless!! All their songs are incredible but this song caught me because of its great melody.
Im not sure exactly what this song is referring to, but in obvious literal terms its about an intoxicated person who cant locate his friend (but anyone with working ears can tell you that). Ive tried to listen for a metaphorical meaning, but I get so drawn into the melody that I forget to think!
Anyone got any opinions? |

i think its about a relationship that is going nowhere in where both members of the relationship are afraid or unable to break it off. he is willing to let her free if she can do the same. |
