I don't understand what the point is in coming here and bashing other people's music tastes. If you don't like it you don't have to listen to it! This isn't even a race thing like you guys are making it. I find racist comments ignorant and ridiculous. I am half asian and half white. And although you may think that because I'm half white I have it easy, that's not true. Usually I'm out with my mom and my younger siblings without my dad [who is Japanese] and people ask how my mom adopted 4 children all in the same family. It may not seem like it but that's racist. Not to mention since we live in a world of stereotypes, I'm supposed to fit into both the white and the asian stereotypes. I also find using the word "gay" as an insult, ignorant and non-tolerant. Using "gay" as an insult is teaching people to think being gay is bad. I listen to so many different types of music my friends think it's ridiculous. I have Elton John, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, 2pac, Eminem, Jay-Z, Will Smith, Britney Spears, S Club 7, Jesse McCartney, The Kingston Trio, John Denver.... the list goes on and on. I have gospel music on my ipod along with all of those people!! Not to mention Disney songs! The Neptunes are amazing. Havn't you noticed their names are EVERYWHERE? Producers don't last that long unless they produce well. All that being said, I LOVE this song. It's endlessly entertaining. If you want some serious rap lyrics check out Kanye West's CD "College Dropout" and listen to the song "Jesus Walks". Or 2pac's "Loyal to the Game" and listen to just about any song on that CD. The video is also amusing. But does anyone know if/what the blue flag hanging out of his left side pocket signifys? I know what the crip side is but I don't know if the blue flag signifies anything. |
