Fall Out Boy – The Patron Saint of Liars and Fakes Lyrics 20 years ago
Ok, does sound like the TBS song, but I'm sure it was accidental. Both songs and bands are great in their own right. XD.

This song is amazing! FOB never fails to deliver tons emotion to all of their songs. I could listen to this CD over and over agian.

I have two different versions of this song, one is sort of techno ish and the other is the normal one. I have no idea how I got that techno one....I think who ever I downloaded it from did it....but it was really awesome!

Fall Out Boy – Homesick at Space Camp Lyrics 20 years ago
This song is about leaving where you come from, missing it, yet meeting new people that are "golden".
Classic homesickness song.

The Academy Is... – Skeptics and True Believers Lyrics 20 years ago
Yeah, this song is AWESOME.

Well, since when I first heard this song I was going through a rough spot with my friend I related it to that. It seems that the person he is talking to is scared for the friendship/relationship (how ever you want to look at it.) and he is saying, "what does it matter, you couldn't get by with out me anyway, so stop questioning things, I'm the one taking care of you."

But, again, I am sort of biased as to the meaning because I interpretted it according to my personal situation.

No one knows about this band yet, but they seem like the mainstream type. I'm guessing they are going to be big. :)

The Academy Is... – Down and Out Lyrics 20 years ago
The Academy Is... is such an awesome band. A lot like Fallout Boy IMO but a tad bit more melodic, maybe? I can't place it, but there is something really different between the two...

Anyway. The first stanza to me is about a girl who is trapped in a world that she is mistreated in and she is going to leave.

The "why o why you where sunglasses in the home" part is kind of like, asking "why are you hiding from yourself? (or possibly life in general)

The chorus is pretty self explanatory and so is the following verse. The stanza that starts with "We won't forget Tony and Johnny" seems to be about how everyone in this guy's circle of friends went away to do their own thing, leaving behind "the good thing" mentioned.

Great song!

Bright Eyes – Lover I Don't Have to Love Lyrics 20 years ago
Desperation pretty much sums it up for me.

At first for physical contact and sex and drugs, and the way those things fill a sort of emptiness.

And by the last stanza it turns into desperation for real love.

The song is very primal to me. The whole vibe is just of desperation and masochism.

Great song.

Bright Eyes – At the Bottom of Everything Lyrics 20 years ago
Conor Oberst is so talented and this song definetly shows his lyrical talent.

"I'm happy just because
I've found out I am really no one."

I mean really, he is just awesome.
