| This is by far, my favorite song, from my favorite JEW album. Clarity is a musical and lyrical masterpiece. It just doesn't get much better then this. I love the way that the vocals are in such absolute harmony with the intstrumentals and the way they ebb and flow together so effortlessly. I'm in a visual comminications design program and whenever I'm feeling creativly stumped, I play this song and it inspires me so much everytime I hear it. It has guided me through many a creative block. The melodies just bulid and layer to produce a musical orgasm. It's simply breathtaking. Way to go, Jimmy Eat World. I can't even begin to express my appreciation for this song or this band. I haven't checked out the book, but I definitely plan on it. :) | |

| I can totally relate to this song personally, I remember the first time I heard it was after driving back from going out for drinks with my ex, about 6 months after a break up of a relationship or 4 years. This song totally blows me away everytime I listen to it, and that's why I love jew so much. This song pretty much sums up exactly how I felt on the drive home that night. | Yes, this song is definately about sex! It's very passionate and dream like with the melodies and some of the vocals. It puts me in the same mood as "Caress me Down" by Sublime, but in a less raunchy sort of way. A great song to have sex too!!!!!! | |

This is my favorite song from futures, I can listen to it on repeat for hours, it's like a new song everytime I hear it. But simply, I think it's about the power of knowing that someone cares about you and always remembering what you had together and taking it for what it's worth. First of all, I think the opening lines are: "Here, you can be anything Anything that scares you, I think that scares you" I think this song is about having new experiences for the first time on your own, maybe after getting out of a realtionship. And knowing that your experiences are going to be different and more personal, and that might scare a person, to begin experiencing life for themselves, without someone by their side, and truly finding themselves. Also, I think the new found indiviual, and experiencing life for yourself relates to the lines "Here in center frame, there's only air. Just enough space to fit" But I do agree that the meaning of this song is very subjective, and people relate to it differently based on life experiences. The melodies of this song are astounding, this is one of my all time favs, along with for me this is heaven and polaris from futures. |
