the texture on this song is so sparse, it sounds so very empty, which is a great effect. The ending is beautiful, congleton's voice is just incredible. a very powerful song, i think...this song is about a media company in OC who were running a documentary about sxe and hardcore, and asked the guys in throwdown / 18V if they could follow them around for a while, go to shows with them etc. The guys on the OC scene, welcomed them into the family and took them around with them, and when the documentary was run, the media company completely twisted everything and made the guys look like belligerent bastards, so this is Keith's response to that. |

I am sure that the our design record is a loose concept of some sort...to me, nicky is basicly singin about a relationship that goes tits up due to the guys obsession with the girl. this song is the part where things are starting to go bad, and the guy sits at the station for hours on end, just waiting to catch a glimpse of the woman of his dreams....im probably wrong, but the songs do seem to flow well into each other, like they're telling a story |
