elizabeth not only bathed in the blood she drained but she drank it too...i believe she is also one of the influences behind bram stoker's dracula, along with vlad. she drank the blood because she believed that if it made her healthy on the outside, why not be health on the inside???lol makes sense to me
anyways, this whole album is basically about her..very cool stuff |

actually, this song is about the REAL dracula, Vlad tepes dracula (tepes meaning"the impaler") he is not, however, a vampire but was notorius for arround 40 000 killings in his six year reing over ancient romania, he was given the title tepes after impaling 20 000 turkish soldiers high on pikes stuck into the ground when he was chased out of his kingdom by some sultan guy, after seeing this the sultan called off the attack (after that, wouldnt anyone?)
anyways more to the point. vlad did all this in secrecy and his belived mistress found out he wanted to kill her father and became upset, after a few more years of killings she finally committed suicide by hurling herself over the castle wall and vlad swore to have her back, some how. this is a very true story and believe it or not vlad was a very respected man and people ACTUALLY loved this man, he kept order in their small town.
wicked song..hope you enjoy the history of the man who inspired bram stokers Dracula |

i like this song to me also could be about someones father dying in a war...most likely in ww2, possibly a captive in auschwitz or something "here i'll stand on the firing line" and after dying guided all the other people and watched over them through everything and is kindof 'triaped' between heaven and earth and still roams the battlefields "here i'll walk through the field where i died" and how hard he fought to keep peace "i will fight and let the voice ring true" and in the third chorus it says "here we stand on the firing line, here i'll walk through the fields where i fight" which also, to me, means that he is still with all the prisoners in spirit and, in some way, is still fighting against the nazis.
but thats my opinion and theres also many other meanings to the song, but thats what it means to me ; )
peace out! |

first off, necronic, stop being suck a fucking prick, people are allowed to share what they and and you have no right to tell them what they can or cannot say, you are right about one thing, i dont realy care what they think of the song either but dont get all pissy because they feel like sharing what they think of the song.
enough of that, i think this is an awesome song, to me, they are saying that if you are of two different races (or alien or whatever) you will be brought down by racism, discrimination, prejudice and all of that kind of stuff just because of what you look like.
