| I agree with lostinadyingworld. the very last line of the song says suicide. She says she tried to kill the pain, people kill themselves to end pain, so she tried to kill herself. But while she tried to kill the pain it didn't work and it brought more pain and while she is lying there dying she is praying to God to be saved. She says "My God, my tourniquet" It's like she is saying God is her tourniquet and he will stop the pain like a tourniquet stops the bleeding. She asks if someone remembers her lost for so long. I think she is asking God if he remembers her, like she had turned away from Him for some reason and is trying to go back to Him and she is wondering if He'll be there on the other side for her, or if He'll forget her for trying to kill herself. | |

To me it sounds like she is speaking to herself. How she acts like she is happy and more important then everyone else, but inside she cries and no one knows. Later on she says: "i am so sick of speaking words that no one understands is it clear enough that you can't live your whole life all alone i can hear you in a whisper but you can't even hear me screaming " She says she is sick of no one understand what she is saying and then goes into saying "you can't live your whole life along" she switches to talking about herself to talking to someone else, and I feel that she is talking about herself in 3rd person and she is mad at herself because she acts one way and no one notices how she really feels. |
