to me the "meaning" of this song is that you can't let a mirror tell you what is right or wrong about you...God made each and every one of us in his image...i seem to have trouble remembering that sometimes...but then when you "look into the eyes of He who made me" then you will finally see the truth behind yourself and your true beauty!!! hope this helps anyone...lol... this song is absolutely AWESOME!!! i do like mandy moore's version a little better...but switcfoot's version is great too!!! i first heard this song in the movie A Walk to Remember...which just happens to be one of my favorite movies...the song fits the movie so well...and this song just gives me chills!! oh, and anobody that hasn't seen A Walk to Remember...you HAVE to see it!!! it's kind of a chick flick, but a great movie nonetheless...it's also pretty sad...but it's a classic (for me at least) so you should definately see it!!!!! |
