this song is great, very sad but can remind me of girls i've known who've had relationships with assholes but kept going back to them, the sound of it is great.. gives you and insight on what a lot of women are like and even though it's sad it reminds me of some great girls i've known who just couldn't let go of some stupid shit.. I also like how it could just be refering to life itself and kinda telling you what not to do. that you shouldn't be going back to things that cause you pain constantly, it's better just to move on.. and i kinda like that meaning. |

who cares..i love pearl jam..but this song just sounds like shit.. what are lyris if it just sounds stupid? ..people just sit around going..this is about heroin.. that's so crazy man.. i must like it now.. i've said it once and i'lll say it again.. music is great, i like what i think sounds cool.. if the lyrics are something that i can connect with in some way then that's cool.. but i don't praise music for straight up lyrics because they're mysterious and hard to decode lol.. just listen to what sounds good and stop worrying about the meanings all the time.. some people get too serious with it.. i like to see what people think the songs are about.. i judge music more by sound of it than lyrics.. the sound of a song making you feel a certain way is what it's all about.. i used to be all crazy and into lyrics.. then i started listening to more and more Joe Satriani and Classical music without lyrics and realized why lyrics aren't as important as music itself...anywho, just rambling on now |

..metal is metal dude..people need to stop taking metal serious at that.. th sound is cool and more technical than other bands but if you're looking for some decent lyrics you shouldn't be messing around with metal music.. it's all about it sounding cool.. the lyrics don't have to make sense or mean anything in metal and you shouldn't expect something deep and moving out of it unless yer just some goon trying to defend metal in the lyrics department.. the lyrics are complete shit.. that video was silly also.. but I'm not trying to piss anyone off.. just trying to express my view on metal.. basically i'm saying in metal music.. doesn't matter what type: for the most part "lyrics=stupid , music=good" .. so just listen to it cos it sounds good.. unless yer a girl don't worry about the lyrics in nightwish, seriously |
