Red Hot Chili Peppers – Skinny Sweaty Man Lyrics 20 years ago
From someone who has followed Red Hot Chili Peppers from a young age and read lots on the internet about them, I knew this fact also.

I believe it says this in the autobiography as well, but at the time Hillel Slovak had taken drugs to a whole new level. He was left before shows unable to play. He was indeed a "Skinny, Sweaty Man".

Red Hot Chili Peppers – Funky Crime Lyrics 20 years ago
Blood Sugar Sex Magik is by far my favourite RHCP album. I agree By the Way is good. I'm not saying drugs are good, but the songs seemed to be better when AK was battling drugs.

Back to the song. This song, according to Anthony Kiedis' autobiography is a lyrical description of a conversation that he had had with George Clinton. GEorge maintained that music itself is colour blind but the media and the radio station segregate it based on their perceptions of the artists.

Red Hot Chili Peppers – Fight Like a Brave Lyrics 20 years ago
In Anthony Kiedis' autobiography, he writes that this song is about when he was fired from the Red Hot Chili Peppers for his drug abuse. This was the time he needed to admit he had a problem, so he phoned his mum and she flew him to where she lived. The clinic for heroin abuse had closed, so they went to the Salvation Army. Here, he underwent 20 days of meetings. He phoned up the Flea (Mike Balzary, Bassist) to see how things were going and he flew back to the band to join up with them.

He wrote this song on his flight back to the band, it is the story about his battle with drugs in the Salvation Army.

The Faders – No Sleep Tonight Lyrics 20 years ago
I agree, saw them on TV this morning. The only thing I liked was the video at the beginning (if you filter them out). Does it remind you of Grease???? Should do, its the same school.

I think this song though is about someone who has hurt one of them, and they are saying that he will go through hell.
