i really think the one without bowie sounds better...anyway, it's about a relationship about to end and the person knowing but still denying it...clock ticking and all...brian's voice is definitely of huge importance to the emotional depth of the song and the album. |

this is the second song ever to make me cry.(after my sweet prince)i think it's about not accepting that your soulmate is no longer by your side, being dead or whatever, and your being a fatalist and at the same time trying to be next to that person again ("soulmates never die")basically, it's about imagining someone is still there when he/she is not, hence the title. or clinging to a memory. |
