I agree with nails_in_my_feet. Even if it wasn't intended to be about the great Hessie, it certainly could be applied to him (from what i've heard). Amazing song - my fave of all Crowded House tunes. I will always adore the lyrics, esp. "Finding out wherever there is comfort There is pain Only one step away" |

| apparently the first time the Crowded House played this song live was at the Farewell to the World concert in Sydney (don't quote me on that) at which Neil's parents were present. It must have been such an emotional night for so many reasons. | |
