this isnt the best led zeppelin song but it was proably in the top. people just say it isnt because its been overplayed in commercials and what not, just like stairway to heaven.
who cares if Zeppelin lyrics were ripped off, for them sometimes it wasnt as much as the words but about the plain music. Zepplin could have had most their music without lyrics, and it would be just as great, based on the solos and what not. |

you people are going into way too much depth to figure out this meaning. believe what you want to beleive, thats what lyrics are about, sending out a message, and people relating to it in their OWN way. stop trying to figure this all out and go put on a led zepplin record.
and to all the people getting mad that theres a bunch of people that only like this one song, and dont give zepplin's other songs a chance,(which i do agree they have countless other spectacular songs) just get over yourselves too and just enjoy the music. |

this song is awesome, has a great beat. i think its about how he is ashamed sort of at the world, and the condition it is in right now. but yet there is something or soemone who just makes it so great. this might be just sort of my view on the world though.

this song is so deep but at the same time so simple and easy. though its not just about religon kids. its also about greed, and wants, unhappiness, politics, leaders, and so much more. John Lennon wasnt writing against religon either, but jsut using it as an example, as if there were no controversies there would be nothin to fight or hate over, then some might say then there would be nothng to live for. to each his own though, and it doesnt really matter who knows the right meaning, but to just enjoy the music for what it is. John Lennon was an amazing thinker and writer, and its so sad that he had to die in a way he was against. i dont know if there will ever be a new musical writer to live up to him. |

honestly kids, of course this song is all about an LSD trip. the title may have not intentionally meant to be an acroynm, but the song is defintly about tripping, or being on a trip. |
