| Queen – Teo Torriatte (Let Us Cling Together) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Ah, my apologies. Brian May, author. More than a year later, this is still my favorite Queen song. Thanks, Kondor, for the word-by-word gloss-- i'll keep that one too, if you don't mind! And i love the idea of karma, Persian Eyes-- this song more and more seems to me something between two people who never expect to see each other again-- in this life. | |

The Japanese is the same as the English, although the Japanese is a little more poetic. "tomoshi" is like the fire that burns from within; not just passion but love and maybe even the light of awakening. SO: Let us hold on to each other as life goes by my love, the night is falling but light the fire that burns inside us and treasure the knowledge that we have gained. so it doesn't rhyme- i'm not a genius like Freddie. :) |

| Peter Freestone was one of Freddie's best friends, and took care of Fred most of his life (butler, tea-maker), even to the very last moment. So, um, probably not the Killer Queen. :). | |
| Queen – Living On My Own Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| The mix from GHIII is fabulous for waking up to. Freddie was a great scat singer, 'mong other great things. How could a man constantly surrounded by people feel this lonely? | |
