I love this song, and holiday completley...And I support bush on some things...moderatly republican here...i believe in letting the people do more of their own thing... ( yes i will agree that doubya is thourougly braindead)...I don't know weither to support the war or be against it honestly...
On one hand Iraq was under a totalitarian state and opression and for years sadam killed and tortured his own people...So for us to go in and clean shit up and help these people get their feet back on the ground is a good thing...
But where the fuck does America get off on being the police of the world?...I know that I would want someone to come in and help us if shit was completely and totally out of control and we had in no way, a way to protect ourselves...But America really just fucking butts into other countries shit. The government just wants to look like heroes. We did it in Vietnam and the only reason we didnt get the hell out of dodge is just becasue we didnt want to admit that WE couldn't fix something.
