| Buckcherry – Crazy Bitch Lyrics | 18 years ago |
This song, obviously, is about kinky sex with a girl. That's it. Honestly it sounds like something a 7th grader would've written. @^exeF.: Too bad the 80's bands and the ones before them did all of this better. They actually rocked. |

| Meat Puppets – Aurora Borealis Lyrics | 19 years ago |
The first time I tried Salvia this song randomly came on as I dove head-first into a different world. I remember hearing this song burst in and the walls of my room ripping apart like paper, revealing a vast desert infront of me. Yeesh...but, yeah, Meat Puppets rock! |

| Pink Floyd – Hey You Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I love the feelings and visuals I get from Pink Floyd songs. This song just reminds me of a dreary overcast day with light rain, then it thunders into a storm as the last rays of sun are blotted out. | |
| Pink Floyd – Have a Cigar Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I picture some sleezy guy with a cigar wrapping his greasey, filthy arm around an unsure and on-the-rise rockstar, explaining to him how they can make it big while the filthy pig's suit and body crawls with insects and rot. Just what I picture. |

| Ben Folds – Zak And Sara Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I always thought this song was about a girl named Sara that somehow had psychic visions of the future of music (Zak the DJ and his rave music). Saw this live, too. It was like no other hearing the crowd shout, "ZAK AND SARA!" ....It always makes me wonder if there was a couple in the crowd called Zak and Sara. |

| Violent Femmes – Good Feeling Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Honestly, this is the only song I've ever heard that can make me smile and cry at the same time. It's odd. | |
| The Beatles – In My Life Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Just told a girl to listen to this to get how I felt about her and life at the time being. I hope she takes it well.. | |
| The Smiths – Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Wow, what another great song! I'm just now actually, truly, listening to The Smiths, and...wow. When I first read the lyrics it honestly looked quite cliche and over-emotional, but when you actually HEAR the song it's amazing! It's sad, also, as I've had these kind of dreams many times. It's awful when it's someone you have feelings for....and then you wake up. |

| The Smiths – How Soon Is Now? Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I heard this song at work earlier today and I was instantly floored. A few friends of mine had me listen to some Smiths song, but I never could find a song that I liked or that particularly stuck. This song though is absolutely amazing! The vocals and the music blend so well together and create just a perfect eerie/anguish-filled musical landscape. |

| Ben Folds Five – Song for the Dumped Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Ha, what a great song. I just got out of a fucking screwy and damaging relationship with a girl, and while we were together I had her listen to some BFF. She absolutely hated this song. I guess it was the subject matter, but, anyway, Haley, I hereby dedicate this song entirely to you. Ya know I care and all, but give me back my fucking money and my black Zeppelin t-shirt! |
| Violent Femmes – Kiss Off Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This is THE theme song to my life. It sounds so happy, yet it is depressing. Great stuff! | |
| Violent Femmes – Please Do Not Go Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Hey, THIS IS ME! | |
| Steppenwolf – Born To Be Wild Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Hearing this song makes me want to grab a few buddies and hit the road on some huge adventure. | |
| Uriah Heep – July Morning Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Sounds like the person in the song is searching for love, but keeps getting into messes and getting hurt. They keep leaving each bad relationship (With the storm and the night behind me) and searching, with even more hope that maybe the next time it'll be the right person. Excellent song, too. I love how the beginning just kicks straight into high-gear, then it quiets down as the lyrics start, then the last part...wow. Great song! |

| Bob Seger – Mainstreet Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Last summer my friend and I went walking down Mainstreet in my town, met a girl and her friends that had some grass, and smoked with them. I'd, surprisingly, never heard this song before, so as soon as we reached my house my friend put this song on. Since that day it always reminds me of sitting on mainstreet, smoking and relaxing with a few strangers. |

| Electric Light Orchestra – The Diary of Horace Wimp Lyrics | 19 years ago |
It sounds like Horace had the idea that meeting someone, or getting married, would solve most of his problems..that it was the answer to everything. He then realized that it did solve most of the problems he had, but a new stage of challenges and problems had opened up. That's my take on it. |
| Electric Light Orchestra – Mr. Blue Sky Lyrics | 19 years ago |
This song seems like it's about just enjoying a great day, enjoying life and all of the great times it can bring. I remember listening to this song and running through fields, empty streets and small forested areas. I probably looked crazy, but hey, I was just enjoying the day and this amazing song! |

| The Rolling Stones – You Can't Always Get What You Want Lyrics | 19 years ago |
So far, in my life, I've usually gotten what I've needed to get by. The things I've wanted are usually the things that have caused the most trouble for me. This song, to me, says something along the lines of: You're not always going to get what you desire, but, hey, most of the time those things bring more trouble than they're worth. If you try to get what you truly need, you'll get by just fine, and maybe one day one of the things you want will come to you. This song also reminds me of a close friend of mine. He was griping one day because he didn't get what he wanted, and his dad instantly started singing this song to him. |
| Blind Melon – Change Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I've been going through some tough times lately, and I just came across this song today. I've listened to it countless times. It's really cheering me up...it's amazing. | |
| Eric Clapton – Tears In Heaven Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Such a beautiful and sad song. Probably one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. I remember hearing my mom sing this when I was younger. | |
| Ben Folds Five – Philosophy Lyrics | 19 years ago |
The first song I'd heard from Ben Folds Five. Excellent song. To me it means that you shouldn't worry what others think. Everyone is going to have a different 'philosophy'. You should think for yourself and not care what others think. Ben can really rock the shit out of the piano, too. |
| Ben Folds Five – Underground Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Funny story: When I first got into Ben Folds Five, this was one of the first songs I had heard. I eventually tried to pass on the BFF awesomeness to a friend, and he loved this song. It eventually came to be the theme song to his cellar where everyone that's anyone around his place goes to get high. "Everything's happy underground." Yes, indeed. Heh. |
| Elton John – Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This song kicks godly amounts of ass. I listen to it when I need to get pumped up for something. Be it a night out drinking, hanging with friends, or just trying to get with the girl I like ;) | |
| Pixies – Tony's Theme Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| My sister and niece both consider this to be the theme song to their dog Tony. I can't listen to this without picturing that crazy dog. | |
| The Rolling Stones – Waiting On A Friend Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Sounds like me right now. Brilliant song. | |
| Ben Folds Five – Jackson Cannery Lyrics | 19 years ago |
'It's 4 in the morning Mother don't know That I'm going far away She's whispering to the moon 'I hope he don't join you soon' Maybe she's hoping that her son doesn't join his brother that's 'far from earth'? |
| Ben Folds Five – For All The Pretty People Lyrics | 20 years ago |
Anyone else think of Sonic the Hedgehog when they listen to this song? That's what instantly popped into my head: Saturday mornings, as a kid, playing Sonic. Heh. Great song, though. |
| Guns N' Roses – Patience Lyrics | 20 years ago |
This song is helping me, and someone else, through a very tough time. The part: "Said, sugar, take the time, 'Cause the lights are shining bright" Always gets to me. It sends chills down my spine. Hell, this whole song does. |
| Guns N' Roses – November Rain Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This song is astounding. I'm going through some tough times right now in a relationship, and this just fits it perfectly. | |
| KoЯn – Another Brick in the Wall Parts 1, 2 and 3 (Pink Floyd cover) Lyrics | 21 years ago |
I don't get why people absolutely hate alot of covers bands do. They compare the songs to the original, and that's one thing YOU SHOULD NOT do. It's like when an artist (Ex: Cartoonist) draws, say, another popular character from a different cartoon into his. He/She makes it to where it IS recognizable, where the people can tell who or what it is, then the rest is the artist's 'style' injected into it. Same with covers in music. I know that there are some covers that don't fit my tastes, but I'm not going to just say that they 'suck', or compare them to the original. I listen to them for what they are: the artist expressing their like for a song and putting their own spin on it. Oh, and I do like this cover. It's pretty good. |
| Pearl Jam – Yellow Ledbetter Lyrics | 21 years ago |
This song is absolutely beautiful. Whenever I hear this on the radio, or hear it anywhere, I just have to stop and listen to it. Most of Pearl Jam's songs don't really 'mean' anything to me in particular. I know that most of the songs have meanings and such, but most of the time, I only listen to the music. Most of PJ's music just takes me back to the happier, carefree days of my youth; visiting friends with the stereo up loud. I can't help but get a lump in my throat when listening to any song by Pearl Jam, I have too many memories tied to the songs. |
