I love how this song brought about different points of views from just about everyone. That's how good it is. I think it's about someone who just wants to feel like others can sort of relate to them. Like someone else said, "breathe me" could mean to understand them. The way she sings this song just penetrates your emotions so much. I heard this what feels like a year ago, and today, I was just sitting at home, the only one awake, and I thought about it. It's haunting.

I think this song is about someone who fears confrontation so much so that he'd rather erase the person from his life altogether. (I'm hiding from the battles I don't want to fight) The thought of his dad's disease being broken relationships is an excellent idea that had never occured to me before browsing this page.

I think this song is about someone who just feels like a creep around other people. Perhaps this person feels like they are not as good as their peers, or they are a weirdo, and therefore they do not belong. I don't see this being about a relationship as much as it could be about wanting to fit in in a society that doesn't value individualism. Hence the "I don't belong here."

This CD rocked. The song itself, just as everyone else said, is about an addiction (or maybe a habit??). The way its written, it could be an addiction to anything. I think it is about drugs, because, he can't stop using them, and he doesnt want to stop using them. Also, the title, "angels with dirty faces" sorta hints that its something that could be good(angels) but then it would not be as good as it first seemed (dirty faces). Eh, I should be studying. Sorry if this comment seemed weird or anything.

I think this song is about a person that has control over another person, and that control makes them feel God like, or closer to God. The "fuck you like an animal" part had me laughing for a long time....
