Athlete – El Salvador Lyrics 20 years ago
I'm not too sure about the meaning of this song, but could it be about following the crowd?
It's saying how hes been told to fly to el salvadore, yet he doesn't know why...

Thirteen Senses – Gone Lyrics 20 years ago
I think these lyrics are about really liking someone, and because you like them so much you are rushing ahead to spend as much of your life with them as possible, but because you are doing that "the flame is gone" and you are putting off the other person in the relationship that you trully, desparately want to be with.

Thirteen Senses – Lead Us Lyrics 20 years ago
I think he is saying that he has been lead by leaders that have merely led him astray, almost to deaths point.

Thirteen Senses – Do No Wrong Lyrics 20 years ago
this song I think is just talking about life, what controls us, what affects us, what pretects us, and how circumstances change over time. But how we can live on the edge, but still within the boundaries of what is right and wrong.

Snow Patrol – On/Off Lyrics 20 years ago
^^^^
That comment made me laugh, there is no proof he was cheating on the person in this song, and even if he was doesn't mean he makes a habit of it. I agree that he has written many songs that may imply cheating, but often several songs can be written from one situation displaying different aspects of it.

Or maybe he just made it all up.

Andyway it is a great song.

Bad Religion – Watch It Die Lyrics 20 years ago
Everything we are doing to the world means that one day it will no longer satisfy our needs and we will be forced to watch the world die because of our own doing.
So many people don't open their eyes and realise that the way we are living is not sustainable and in the end all of us will suffer because it is too late to change it all.

Bad Religion – To Another Abyss Lyrics 20 years ago
"> There was a show of local color and I failed to stray
> Cause I had nothing to offer but insufficiency"

I could be wrong, but I think the first one means that his country fooled him with the colourful lies and pulled him in so that he didn't realise what he was being told were lies.

The second one means that his support and effort alone is not enough to turn things around for the better- it takes more than one person.

Bad Religion – Them and Us Lyrics 20 years ago
Mr Graffin has an impressive vocabulary.
I'm pretty sure this song is saying there will always be opposition and people may never agree but you should stand up for what you belive is right.

Bad Religion – Shattered Faith Lyrics 20 years ago
I agree with what you just said, but I think alternatively, in a more literal sense, the song could be more about losing faith, finding out that everything you have belived or worked for in your life may have no meaning and it's just something you have to accept because nothing is ever for sure. And there is nothing you can do to go back and change how you have lead your life.

Bad Religion – New America Lyrics 20 years ago
This song sounds uncannily like the kids of America by kim marsh, but the lyrics are good and completely true.

Bad Religion – I Love My Computer Lyrics 20 years ago
I just love the sarcastic tone in this song, it is so true, yet we cannot help ourselves from coming to places like this where we are all just numbers and clever screen names!

Bad Religion – All There Is Lyrics 20 years ago
I think that this song is an attack on the ignorance of many people. I think the " can that be all there is" part is like saying " is that all there is to your point", talking about the shallowness to most people's arguements and reasoning.
I think onece again they are hitting on religion and the lack of eveidence behind it, yet despite this many people choose to follow it and allow it to rule their lives, whilst not really focusing on the real troubles in life.
Basically it is a call for people to think through their reasoning, "And if pigs could fly, surely so could I
But this pedestrian knows better than to even try" It's like people don't attempt to fly because they know they can't and it is impossible, yet believing in god's existance is something people do without really looking behind it.
