i love this song. its like I did this for you, not for your religion, not for your patterns. Its all like, i don't care who you are. You could be some crack addict, or a prosititute, a sunday church goer, a devote disciple, a jew, a proclaimed devil worshipper, anything at all. He doesn't care. He did it for YOU! All you have to do is accept this and accept him into your heart. And that part is sweet because it comes right after the crucifixion part so its like saying why he let them do it, cuz he could of stopped it if he felt like it. O ya, and if you look, you can find references/analogies directly linked with Christ Jesus and christianity in all the btmksc songs, trust me, its true. But most of them are mostly just how useless and pointless our existance is without Him.

I think there is more to it than that though, The fact is we will never be able to live life the way God intended life to be lived and we were sinning before we knew it. Every now and then though, we do get things right and see things for what they really are, but we will never be worthy, or pure. The Garden of Perfection is out of everyone's reach now.

I say the song is about not settling for less. you should always strive to be the best person you can be, not to be like everyone else. mediocrity is the killer, the murderer that you are dancing with. when you stop watching out for the evils all around and you lower your defenses, you might as well walk into the coffin cause they just may get to you. I like the mewithoutYou dude's part too, but i don't exactly get it. The whole song is great, same goes for the rest of the album. However, i am not liking the new CD so much other than the killer song titles.

Project 86 – Hollow Again Lyrics

This is my favourite song on Truthless Heroes. The music is great but the lyrics are even better. It sums up the whole album. All through the album you have the "truthless hero" as he/she travels through life trying all these different things to try and fill the void in his/her life. And then right at the beginning the song says, "all that i've tried so hard to keep is all i've had to leave." Basically you can't rely on material objects to get you through life. When it says, "And all along here i was told that i could find...that i could find a hope inside this empty place" but really material objects don't help. You need Christ in your life to get you through things and to provide you with safety. Thats what it means to me anyways.
