I think Enter Sandman is one of Metallica's worst songs. It's not bad but they have done alot of songs better then this. I don't understand how so many people like this song and seem to think it's there best. This is easly the worst song on 'the black album'. |

personaly i think that it is ment that he is unsceen for what he does for a person ... no nesscacerly a girl it could have ben a close friend or a familymember like the song jermy by pearl jam it quots that jermys mom and dad dint pay attention to him ... how do you know that Maynard wished his parents or whoever took care of him while he was growing up didnt give him the affection he needed and he gave him all his love ...altho i like to refer it to a girl he loved and she didnt recognise him |

I liked Ozzy when he was with Sabbath, but i agree with RainbowDemon, he was a sellout. I once herd him sing born to be wild with ms piggy. |

I think the song is about a man who is being killed for a crime he committed in rage, that why it sais
"There is someone else controlling me", also he dosen't think they have the rite to kill him. "Who made you God to say 'I'll take your life from you!!'" |
