I think the walk-ins refers to him and this one girl. Like, she walks in and wants a quickie, but he feels bad because his feelings are toward someone else. This song is all about how he regrets falling in love. Now every relationship he's in is never the same. The first girl, the one he loves broke his heart, left him with cavities, just a painful reminded. And took his wisdom teeth, like, not real teeth, but just his ability to make good decisions. |

Well, I think that "I let you inside" literally means that the guy let the girl into his home for sexual reasons. He likes her a lot, and he knows that she doesn't feel the same way towards him. For her its just sex, not for him. |

This song shouldn't be taken literally, which most of you have been doing. I don't think this is a couple argueing, or even two people in fact. He is consoling himself, because he's taking drugs, and either, he doesn't like the person he becomes when he takes the drugs, or he is trying to quit--but succumbing to the addiction. The last line gives it away. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde are one person, showing the good and evil sides of the doctor. |
