in my opinion this song is definatly about a person feeling over powered by their love for another... yet the loved doesn't seem to realize what they're passing over ("difficult not to feel a little bit, disappointed and passed over") my girlfriend introduced me to this song and this is my favorite not only APC song but my favorite song overall, it carries such emotion the way that APC always does and i couldn't imagine writing something so beautiful that it touches so many people in such a special way... MJK and all the members of APC are amazing and i only wish that everyone out there could experience that feeling of finding something that you connect with so perfectly... it is true that writers write songs from experience but i think in all of MJKs songs he wants the listener to determine what the song is about..i believe his attitude is... "music can only give you what you take from it..." i don't think he wrote songs to thinking that everyone would know what he's talking about... and i've even read somewhere (i think on the tool forums) that he's read peoples inturpertations and they're "way off"... and this is sad but i've lost track of what i was talking about because i had to change the song so i'm just gunna leave it at that... later |
