my dear friend, I never called myself a metalhead, I don't like the stereotype. and what's a real metalhead? the only things that are needed is: listening to (real) metal and regulary going to gigs... sure, long hair, jeans and bandshirts help, but aren't neccesairy. cutting your wrist is stupid, and if it's in a definition of something it's crap emopoppunk, and what the fuck are blood orgies supposed to be? and real metal dead? I don't know what you call real metal, but to me it's one of the great genres: death, black, power, thrash, nwobhm... folk metal count's too, gothic metal kind off (altough gothic metal isn't the same as real gothic...) those are certainly not dead. it's not as popular as hair metal once was, but that also not part of one of the subgenres I mentioned. I could give you a list of a lot of bands that play now, but that would be useless, since they don't come on tv and I think that would mean they are dead... right? I admit, the things called metal that come on tv are either metalcore, alternative of nu-metal, but so what? it's still alive, just not hopping into view every time you turn your head. |

it's not that slipknot has no talent... each member has, aspecially the drummer and the singer, I just think they don't use it. I also don't think all fans are dumb... but their is a mass of fans that abouth 14 years old, can't stand anything bad being said abouth slipknot, and hang out on forums and site's like this... those are the fun ones |

I think they are hilarious in their stupidity. I cant understand what the hell sk8-and-so-on is saying, and slipnawy... it's racist (to me, a sign of dumbness), it calles slipknot goth looking (idiotic, means he doesn't know shit abouth gothic) and he calls them hard core rock... hardcore is a genre. slipknot hasn't anything to do with it, it's fucking nu-metal. it's fun laughing with dumb people. |

I have a feeling you are 15 or younger... and that you would run away very fast if you met real metalheads, like, I asume, IRoxYerSox is. slipknot sucks... It has almost nothing to do with metal, and certainly not with death... that actually rather obvious, I don't really listen to the genre (death, dying fetus, cannibal coprse, and there the bands I listen to stop, I'm more into black, folk or power), but I hear the difference clearly. seriously, It would be better if every slipknot fan got to listen to some real metal, the world would be a better place. |
