| This is only a guess: neon colors are bright and grab attention, kinda "flashy". So "neon" could be referring to the kind of stories/articles mass media displays. The stories have to be as flashy as possible in order to reach as many people as that's what the majority wants. Just my thought, as the Blood Brothers are critical towards mass media (just look at the lyrics of Trash Flavored Trash). But there are probably other interpretations as well, and maybe they just like the word. | |

Can anyone explain "And all them vulgar kings on their dirty thrones Who among us will avenge Ms. Nina Simone?" to me? I found out that Nina Simone was a jazz singer/musician, and that she died from an illness... but in what way should she be avenged? Thanks |
