I think the meaning of this song is that the girl in this relationship is unhappy. She's dating a really great guy and everything but she's just not in love w/ him. She's aching to be w/ her prince charming but the guys she's w/ now is just such a good guy and he's probably been there for her and everything when she's needed him so she can't just up and leave him. She just uses the excuse of "I had a bad day" because she can't tell him the truth, and because of this the guy singing the song believes her and is still holding on to what he thinks is another "bad day" for her. |
