I believe that the whole "tear you from the ceiling" part means perhaps that whoever he's talking about is a good person like angelic almost and he wants to bring her down to his level. "please don't drive me blind" could also mean that her light could blind him. "I know we're broken/I know I broke it" could mean that at the end of whatever they had he had broken the both of them.
Then again the whole Idea sounds kinda silly probably has more to do with drugs than anything else. |

actually... I don't see this song as really about bi-polar disorder... I mean I feel this way and I'm not bi-polar Rob feels this way and he's not bi-polar I think everyone at one point feels this way...
not to mention that bi-polar is a word that doesn't always refer to bi-polar disorder.... In fact if I remember correctly (which I probably don't) bi-polar can also mean like two things that are opposite each other... kinda like in the song how the chorus is completely different from the rest of the song....

I pretty much dislike atreyu. I can't understand what they're screaming so when I listen to their stuff I'm annoyed by the fact that I later have to look it up. I guess what drew me to this song is the piano. Once you've taken piano you can really tell what's actually talent. The piano in this song is really awesome and the lyrics are meaningful to me. But in reality it's really similar to alot of other songs. however, I congratualte them on their pianist skills if any of it is actually real. |
