I don't much care about Bush one way or the other, I'm not even American. I don't much care what the Dixie Chicks think one way or the other either but their opinions are their opinions and they're more than welcome to share them. They're writing of an experience they've had which is what 95% of all songwriters do so what makes this song different from say... 'Everytime' by Britney Spears? Lol, weak example I know.
Whatever side you're on, I think you gotta admitt, this is a pretty powerful song. |

heh heh, this song was bugging me and so i was forced to due some investigation. The video by the rascal flatts and the actual song meaning just didn't quite add up for me.
Somebody mentioned that this was released by a UK singer earlier on right?
Well, not only that, this song was originally released in like 2003 by Mark Wills and has been covered 3 times since then. I guess the Rascal Flatts were just the first to make this song a hit.
I've heard the Mark Wills version, the UK girl version and obviously the Rascal Flatts version and my favourite is indeed the Rascal Flatts version.
I could be wrong, the Mark Wills version may not have been the original but as far as i know it is.
Awesome song no matter who it's by. |

Pretty good song. I'm really interested to see how well it does though, I mean 5, 6 years ago when boy bands were in this would easily make it to number 1 but times have changed. |
