I've always thought this song was about a child and parent, the question seems to reference a childlike wonder. I always end up taking this song to another level, it reminds me of God and his unsurpassing love. I think that when are in a rough situation, this song is perfect to remind us about his love, assurance and protection over us. |

I just think of it as a young love song..a bittersweet love. But i don't know about the pill popping. I think it just refers to how how well he knows her. Either way the music is great...and is my official driving with the top off the jeep song. |

Yeah i think this can be applied to relationship and death. I try to get away from the mindset that most music is about love....but i find this song sweeter when remembering a peron that has passed away |

Interesting how its probably about the movie..I want to see it now! When I first heard it i thought it was about a woman more interested in controling things that are just materialistic...and then losing whats important...and denying the truth with the line "he took a lover on a faraway beach, while you arranged flowers and chose color schemes" |
