The meaning of this song is pretty obvious... Someone you love so much leaving you because they just don't feel the same towards you. He is left forever lonely because she was the one for him and now she is gone. I get a warm fuzzy feeling after listening to this song because even though it is so sad, it is also so beautiful. His voice is so sexy/beautiful/chilling in the accoustic version. |

All you HIM kiddies go away. HIM totally ruined this song. Look what one of them wrote about it "i like the song, though it sounds like a love song, and he's describing how he feels tricked by love becoz he cant control it..... but it prbably has some satanic meaning as well." I think this song is about being tricked into having feelings for someone who is just playing you. I love the line "It's strange what desire will make foolish people do" |

| GodsAlchemist : How can a punk say anything about "uninspired" riffs? Punk music uses crappy two finger power chords on purpose. I play guitar (and happen to think I'm quite good) and I'd say that Cradle of Filth are at least deacent, and their new drummer is awesome. Learn how to play guitar, then you are qualified to judge if someone can play or not. | |

I don't know how many times I have cried along to this song with a broken heart. The guy who I thought loved me, and lost my virginity to told me he was going to live with a friend in another city for a few months but when he got back we would go out reminds me of this song. He got his cousin to leave a comment on a profile of mine telling me he was with his girlfriend. He told me he got a chick preg' last time he was there (it was a lie though, it wasn't his kid, she was raped) and he was gonna be there longer than he thought. I listened to this song on repeat for weeks on end and I don't know where I would be without it. I think it is basically just about the one that you love not lovng you in return. You want them back, but they don't want you. You get desprite "i'm down to just one thing and i'm starting to scare myself" and the only thing left is suicide. When I read the missing lyrics at the end for the first time I was listening to the version of this song off the album Still (its a way better version. more emotion) and I couldn't help but cry. Its offical, I'm an emo :P |
