wyclef's falsetto makes this song so eerie. makes me think of a lot of people i give money to every so often. (also, i think there should be a "from me" on the end. or maybe he just groans oddly.) |

With orchestration this fantastic - 'perfect' is going pretty far - you hardly want more than three lyrics. I first heard this crazy pop orchestra at free outdoor concert. Then, I was amused but kind of disturbed by all of the robes and choreographed headbanging and seemingly unnecessary happiness. This whole album, and this song in specific, made me reconsider my judgment that the group was just another one of those over-simplistic flashbacks from the 60s. |
