Album of the year! This song is incredible. After seeing the music video, I believe it's alluding to an unbalanced relationship. It genuinely creeps me out and has me thinking about an obsessive, abusive partner in a relationship (or a stalker?). |

| Sohodolls – Prince Harry Lyrics | 17 years ago |

This song is clearly directed to American girls who fantasize about living in the United Kindgom. they are simply using Prince Harry as an example of a British Boy that may attract them to want to go there for their reason of moving there. It's always been known that American girls have a soft spot for male British accents, so naturally they want to get out of America, live in Great Britain for University with their 'hot boyfriend'. Then they say that once the girls move here, they aren't as impressed with the place as they thought they'd be- the weather is horrible, the people aren't as welcoming as they imagined. It's so damn catchy! |

This song reminded me of "It's Dangerous Buisiness Walking Out Your Front Door" the first time I heard it on Fuse a few weeks ago. You know, how it stops and gets all soft in the bridge of it and people sing with Aaron.. but it's still brilliant work. The newest release from them is one of the best realeses of the year so far, it's different from They're Only Chasing Saftey. It's a bit heavier, it isn't as soft to your ears as TOCS (if you get what i'm saying) but i'm sure they wanted to re-invent their sound into something slgihtly different compared to the last album, but yet stay underoath. some of you don't realize that the change is good... if you don't care for it, try to take 47 minutes of your day to sit down and read along the lyrics of the booklet with the CD. you'll appreciacte it a lot more. as for the meaning of this song... it's a discussion to a person about a relationship that is judged by others and they want it to be over with and done with. "How come you try and fit the shape of what they tell you/ But mostly what they show you/ That brings us home/ I pray for you to move on/" I hope that makes some sense to your ears... |

after messing around with my speakers on my computer to find out what the guy is yelling to the crowd, i have determined it is the pslam being recited in english. it isn't the exact version as Sarahhhcoota's submition, but it is the same thing. some of the words aren't the same, but they're virtually the same thing. |

Lyrics are a bit obvious- like all of the HGB songs. I think this is possibly my favorite HGB song out of them all. I always play it on the DVD live show... it's so cute. These dudes need a full legnth album soon, or we might just go crazy, right? I really should blame MTV for puttin them on a hiatus. But yay for their touring and etc... Let's just hope they come back to Huntington... chill... then get in the studio. Love them. :D |

| Jack's Mannequin – La La Lie Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
well... if you read between the lines of the chorus: I've got friends who La La Lie Will help me pull through La La Lie La La La Lie The spaceman that can't get high I'm coming back to my girl by July Yeah yeah yeah yeah Now, take out the La La Lie's and Yeah yeah yeah's... and it reads: I've got friends who Will help me pull through The spaceman that can't get high I'm coming back to my girl by July So, the Lie part, in my opinion has nothing to do with his friends, but, he is tying to cope with his girlfriend, so he's saying that his friends will help him through his difficult time. He is the spaceman that can't get high (into the air or space, wherever... just UP) because his girl is gone, and he's so emotionally weighed down, he just can't seem to feel good and 'raise' himself to get better. I think he's just seperated from his girlfirend for temporary, not thatthey borke up or anything, and the La La Lie is just a great 'jingle' and catchy part to add into there. He's trying to stop obsessing over her by telling the listener that he's done with doing things associating with her: "Guess what I'm done Writing your songs... book... {and} drawing your picture..." Then after he says he's done with her, he then reminises something he does with his 'girl' Well, I might be way off, but I know the La La Lie most likely has NOTHING to do with somebody lieing... Enjoy, and I pray that I make sense to you. //britt |

| Emanuel – Hey Man Lyrics | 20 years ago |

it's an ultimate 'ef your scene' song... said on the site... soemthing liek that anyhow, but they say it's like... when you go to shows, your appearence is all that matter now. They're just trying to get out there that everyone needs to decide what they like by the music, and not the looks now... yes, that about sums it up... //crazeypotter |

my friend gave me the ONE TREE HILL SOUNDTRACK today, though i have never seen an episode of OTH, she loves it... i love music, and this is the last on the album... it totally completes it; and it bascially states that 'i need your love desperately' i am in love with this song now... it's so beautifully sang and written, etc... plus, the name of the band... Trespassers William- who couldn't like a name that's from classic winnie the pooh? haha... good times... //crazeypotter |
