Reel Big Fish – Where Have You Been? Lyrics 21 years ago
I hate this song. When I saw them last July, I had yet to buy Cheer Up! I owned TTRO, White Trash, and Everything Sucks, but had never gotten around to buying their newest album. It was hilarious. They played some older stuff, and the whole crowd was singing along. Then they played this song... maybe ten people at most knew the words. Pathetic. I miss the days when they made good ska-punk music. I'm seriously hoping their upcoming album will be better than this crap.

Reel Big Fish – She Has A Girlfriend Now Lyrics 21 years ago
This is the song that got me into ska-punk (and eventually real ska) a few years back. Love it to death. Great lyrics and music. It's not my favorite song, but it certainly brings back memories when I hear it. And Terminal Preppie: I completely agree. After I heard this song, the first ska album I went and bought was TTRO, the second was It Means Everything (Save Ferris). Her voice blows me away.

And just one little correction from an obsessive and anal retentive RBF fan:

"I SAID I loved you baby..."

Sorry.

Reel Big Fish – Vegetarian Lyrics 21 years ago
My best friend dedicated this song to me. She finds it so hilarious that for years I loved this song and would sing it loudly and proudly, until like 9 months ago, when I went veggie. I still like the song, but she thinks it's the funniest thing ever.

By the way...

"She's not EATIN' bacon, not eatin' sausage..." Not 'in.'

And as a few people have said already, it's

Save a plant! Eat a cow!
I want beef! I want it now!

Propagandhi – Ska Sucks Lyrics 21 years ago
This song is awesome. A local skacore band in my area (The Unwanted) covered this song at a recent show and you should have seen the skank pits. I know it's not serious, I'm a total rude girl and I love just blasting this song and singing it at the top of my lungs.

And to whoever said so, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Reel Big Fish, Mustard Plug and Less Than Jake are NOT the "kings of ska." Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of all of them, but most music buffs wouldn't even call them ska. They're really good skacore/ska-punk, but they're nowhere near being the "kings of ska." To find some bands that deserve that title, check out first wave ska, maybe some 2tone. I'd say personally it's the Skatalites, but that's just me. One things for sure, it sure as hell isn't any mid-90's skacore band.
