tronak, im afraid that i totally dissagree with your remarks. this man was trying to provide for his family - not fight a war against the crown. i live in the north so i cant relate to your opinions of an irish republic. many in the south take their freedom for granted, and have forgotten about us. and for people to put prov. ira slogan s within the lines of this song is a disgrace. |

how tha fuck can dutchoven say its a "good movie" i live in derry, 30 minutes drive from where this massacre took place. it happened over 20 years ago yet the guilty are yet to come to trial and the victims are yet to find justice. the british government has spent millions of pounds on the enquirey but the british soldiers who took the life of these 14 people (another deied later in hospital" still walk the streets 2day. a great song. |

great song but don't you hate the way it's been made into a republican ballad? I think it's a shame that a song about the Irish famine could be used with republican chants among the lines of the chorus. |

i don't think it's that much 2 do with standing up for what u believe in - more defending your country and searching for freedom. Finn was a Celtic Warrior and a giant who lived in the Giants Causeway in county Antrim in Ireland. There are lots of storys and myths about this warrior. |
