| Eminem – Crack A Bottle Lyrics

Glad everyone on here was wrong. Relapse is fucking amazing. Eminem has returned to his Slim Shady ways and I'm loving it. Glad he's done with the Eminem Show/Encore style. Put the curtains on that shit for good. All the political crap was lame. He's got back to dissin the world and showing us into the sick world of his demented mind. And I am loving every fucking minute of it. Those 4 years were well worth it for the listeners. Glad he made it out and it spawned this amazing stuff. Please, don't ever leave again, Em. As good as the drug problems and experiences made this album, I'd hate for Eminem to have to go through that shit again. Can't wait for Relapse II. P.S. Crack A Bottle is a great song. It's light compared to the rest of the album, but it definitely got everyone talking. |

| My Chemical Romance – Cancer Lyrics

My view: In the story, this looks back to when he realized he was dying of cancer and he begins chemo and then gets hit with the big realization. He will be gone soon. Never to be married, never to see his family again.
To me it's also about losing loved ones, and the hardest part of dying is not that you'll die and experience pain, but that you won't see any of your family anymore. It's over. Life is over. It's a realization, basically.
Eh, that's what I think. |

| My Chemical Romance – I Don't Love You (Like I Did Yesterday) Lyrics
| 18 years ago

This song means a lot to me. Of course it's Gearard but I wanna go into the Patient's story as I've been doing on all the songs.
I felt like this is another flashback where it takes an overall look at the relationship he had with his significant other. The ups and mostly the downs. It was an abusive relationship, but not in the physical terms, more of a he was a fucked up drug abuser and she couldn't take it anymore kinda way. I feel like he mentions the beating and the boxing gloves in the book to get the abusive part across, but it's not physical in my eyes. And I like to think of it mostly from her perspective, talking about his lousy characteristics and how he probably couldn't even tell her he didnt love her anymore if he didn't. That he's probably not man enough to say it. I see it as a confusion, that they're over just because he didn't communicate well enough due to the fact he hid so much within and used drugs.
Just the way I see it. |

| My Chemical Romance – Welcome To The Black Parade Lyrics
| 18 years ago
|
I see it as in the middle of his flashbacks and dying, he remembers his father telling him about a black parade. And this is that parade coming to take him away.
To me it's also about how even though someone is dead their memory is carried on by the people who live on. |

| My Chemical Romance – The Sharpest Lives Lyrics

Both about Gerard and his previous alcohol abuse and the patient.
About the Patient, I mentioned flashbacks and this is one where he looks back and he's alone now. He's on a bender. He's living on the edge, a sharp life. Doing things people who care about him wouldn't want him to do. Alcohol, drugs, partying etc. And the loss of her is too much that he uses those things to get away, to numb the pain. And the mention of empires, romeo and juliet, light so bright the sun won't even shine because it's ashamed by something stronger than it, and such is to show that the feeling is epic, it's monumental. That's just my outlook on it. |

| My Chemical Romance – This Is How I Disappear Lyrics
| 18 years ago

I think everything between Dead and Famous Last Words is flashbacks of life right before the patient dies. And this song is that moment where he looks back on his significant other and secrets he kept from her. He realizes that without her he is nothing in the end, even though he said otherwise. He's literally disappearing in dying and it feels like even though it's not logical that it's cause he's not with her anymore. And he's kind of in a rage about her at the end of the song " You wanna see how far down, I can sink?" "So now you can" He's saying see, I'm dying. I can sink pretty low. And that's how I see it. |

| My Chemical Romance – Under Pressure (with The Used) Lyrics

I like when Gerard and Bert do all the 'Um ba ba bay
Um ba ba bay Doo day duh Ee day duh', which you failed to note. Anyway, I thought the song had to do with Freddy and aids. Lots of their fans try to deny it so much. Face it Queen fans, Freddy was gay and if not gay, bi. It's okay to accept. I think thats one of the reasons MCR and The Used picked this song to cover, cause they're anti homophobic. Which is really cool. It's an awesome song and these two awesome bands do a very good rendition of it. |

| My Chemical Romance – Our Lady Of Sorrows Lyrics

Yes. They're lovers that are being held back by others. They're going to kill eachother and go to hell together. That's why the shed your yellow. Then the immortality line is like they can still be together forever when they die, only they'll be in hell. The people that try and hold them back won't be there though. Trade me for an apparition, that they'll be spirits together instead of beings. The love will go on forever. That's what it means to me. |

The part about keeping a gun on the bible is just saying that instead of reading it he'd rather just use it as a place to lay things on. Oh yeah that book you gave me? Yeah, I just use it to lay my gun on it. It's kind of shoving it in the pushy person's face. |

"And if I had the guts to put this to your head" This line gets to me. It's like putting the gun to your lovers head and pulling the trigger. It's hard because they still look like who they were before they were transformed. |

| My Chemical Romance – Interlude Lyrics

This interlude is amazing. It's "come angels of unknown." Angels of unknown are satan's angels. Satans angels are coming to try and stop him from finishing his job in claiming 1000 lives. Cause Satan is a backstabbing son of a bitch. This might not be totally correct but angels of uknown are satan's angels. I just thought that now Gerard's character will have to deal with Satan at this part of the story. |

| My Chemical Romance – It's Not A Fashion Statement, It's A Fucking Deathwish Lyrics

I'm not sure if it connects the two but in the song "This is the best day ever" the line 'Starless eyes for heaven's sake' is sang. In this song the line 'Just you and I, Your starless eyes remain' is sang. I'm wondering, is starless eyes maybe a codename for a certain person? Maybe Gerard just likes starless eyes. Just wondering. Don't go all crazy on me if I'm wrong. Just want some feedback. |

It might have something to do with John but it's not all about John. The name Bree Ann comes out quite a bit on this song. That's not listed here. Songs can have more than just one meaning. I thought it was really good. |

| Senses Fail – Tie Her Down Lyrics

It kind of sounds like he's just using her for the sex. "Tell me your fantasies, I'll make you believe that I really care." "Look into my eyes, I'll tell you all my lies." It sounds as if he might even be taking her virginity... "Watch the innocence just drip." Losing one's virginity is like a loss of innocence. I might be all wrong. Just what the song means to me. |
