This song is quite a sight, and was quite the earfull for me the first time around. I think it's obvious to every one here that the 'some one' who's mind is disected in this song was addicted to the razor - And anything else he could get his hands on. The cutting, to me, was at first an attempt at attention, and then *spiraled* into suicidal attempts. Do you even care if I die pleading? - My favorite line. It makes me think, after the song, like he was saying 'does it matter to you that I'll die pleading for the love I've been deprived of?' And then he talks about his 'downward spiral' that starte with this loss of his mother. - So he began to go bad in the aftermath of a truama. And then he sought love on a higher level - Like seeking God, I think. But he was 'met with questions and devils' - As in he was oppressed by evil, which I kind of felt like was further proven when he spoke in the heavy, distorted, some-what *dark* voice for the bridge - I can't go on living this way. Altogether a very depressing song; But also an adrenaline rush. Very nice. |

Once again, as I have been forced to say to many people when discussing this song in real life. All you flamers out there talk about the people who love this song being *whiny little brats*. Pampered, all that jazz. Well, aside from the fact that not eveyr one lives the pampered life, and not every one has a priveleges, what are *you* doing whilst ransacking this board? *cough* whining *cough* Every one has hte right to display their oppinion, but guess what, it's just a song, and if you're as intelligent as you seem to be when posting, you must have better things to do with your time then blowing up on the keyboard with people you don't even have to talk to. Why is it so important for us all to hate these songs. All the things you said may make a great deal of sense to thousands of music fanatics, but that's because it's your oppinion. The people who love this song have one to. I seem to be typing in circles, I'll just say it bluntly; Go spend your time some where else, I'm sure it's would be usefull some where. *Any way* -------- I think the song's kind of like a diary entry. This is like one of the only song outside of oldies, country, and simon and garfunkel, that my grandparents (legal guardians) aprove of. Gosh. It's because of the begining verse, (my grandmother always worries about me worrying about my weight.) This about the only one they agree with. |

Totally applys to my best friend.... It's like, she only pays attention to me when it's convienient to her. She gets her feelings hurt when no one looks out for her when people tease her, and then chews me out later for me telling them to lay off.... Arrogant little b*tch.... Only wants to talk when there's no one else to kiss her a*$ for her... *wanders off muttering* Any way, yeah, I love this song, I play it often, but not the best I've heard from this band. If you don't like the song, shadow, then why do you post? Do you mena to tell me that you didn't think 'That's totally me'. It's just a reaction. All of these songs are made to apply to kids... We need something in our lives, and music is a powerful thing. My best friend lives by this songs.. She breathes, sleeps it, and cries to it on a regular basis. If anything, it only encourages any rebelious feelings I feel when my grandparents (legal guardians) and I fight. I gues that's why I generally don't enjoy this one as much. |

Kinda interesting. I was walking down my road once, (blowing off steam from a fight) And I had just bought the CD.
