i´ve never listened the original one.. but i trust in pumpkins, so... and it seems like a desperate act of a half-dead person ina some kind of a party, maybe.. asking to stay, or simply staying, with someone who hurts or just doesn´t matter that much in other situation.. but that is all you´ve got in that very moment. |

Really beautiful.. i imagine so many think in black&white, lika a beach, with something like a girl with black tentacles from her dress, .. and the ´Looks right´, thought i, could be ´appears to be Ok the fact that i´m turning left´.. and could be some idea work with the sides like the right as right, the left as the wrong way.. but i don´t think so.. (sorry my poor english). But the monocromatic images i imagine are as this ´cos the fact of flying, turning left and looking the other way is like suicide; the very silent moment of the crash, the infinite seconds of the end; thinking about the ways of your life.. |

I really LOVE this song. These lyrics, in comparison to the other Pumpkins lyrics, sound differente to me; i see so many double senses in the words (considering fact that most part of musics have no accentuation). I imagine a whole video clip; of quite arcaic scenarios, by which thru billy passes, in a wagon, and ends with him, laying on a hill with a tree (quite like that from Adore), looking to the the stars and holding his hand over his eyes.. soot in my hair; stars in my hand. Anyway, i never heard about Billy´s sexual abuse.. and, in the DVD of GH, is there any video ? |
