| Phish – The Lizards Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| The part where the knight (Ruthrford I believe), starts telling him about being part of the Lizards, and the oppression that has occured is the high point of the song. "And the lizards they have died!" Is an exclamation, that is hurtful, but sung to be an anthem to overthrow Wilson. | |
| Phish – Driver Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| One of those encore songs that really moves you. The lyrics, "I'm moving through this life and I'm thinking about the next and hoping when I get there I'll be better dressed" are some of the best in the Phish repetoire. | |
| Phish – Wilson Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| The anger, and rage contained in this song is amazing. | |
| Phish – Tela Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Whether Tela is a traitor is ambigious; the last set of lyrics discuss her time enslaved under Wilson, and it could be a view that Errand Wolf was overzealous in his attack on Wilson's spies. However, the refrain: "Tela Tela jewel of Wilson's foul domain" points to her having a closer relationship to Wilson. Which is further supported by "AC/DC Bag." However whether Tela is a traitor is not as important as the relationship Colon Forbin forms with Tela through this song. When Trey talks about Forbin feeling feelings he never felt before, after being a bachelor for so long, Tela gives him hope. Which we subsequently see crash down in confusion and anger as Tela gets attacked by Roger and Errand Wolf, whom he supports and respects. |

| Phish – It's Ice Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This is definitly one of my favorite songs. Rift is a great album, but this is amazing. I agree with Guyute. Taking their definition further, it's a take on the one-sided viewpoint people inherently have of themselves. While it doesn't go into it, it treads on thin ice (pun intended) of thinking about the whole "me first" view point man inherently has when viewing situations/problems (In this situation, we see someone who is preparing a battle with his reflection, seeking his own well being, overlooking the obvious). | |
| Phish – Cavern Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
No, this is another song to add onto Gamehenge's saga. I heard it's abbout a spy into Wilson's governmen: Your time is near, the mission's clear, it's later than we think Before you slip into the night, you'll want something to drink Steal away before the dawn, and bring us back good news But if you've tread in primal soup, please wipe it from your shoes Either way, I love the song |

| Phish – Buffalo Bill Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| Who cares, this song is unimpressive | |
| Phish – Scents & Subtle Sounds Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
I see this song as almost fantasy, this is one of those songs I would have loved to see live. There's so much left to be interpreted. This, and Access Me (sigh) |
|
| Phish – Two Versions Of Me Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This is the ultimate breakup song | |
| Phish – Silent In The Morning Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| This song is amazing, hands down, it cripples you | |
| Phish – The Squirming Coil Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
Where the hell is this quote from: "I'd like to lick the coil some day like Icarus, who had to pay With melting wax and feathers brown, he tasted it on his way down" I'll give anything to know, it's awesome |

| Phish – Sparkle Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| Probably the anxiety into elation this song captures so perfectly. I believe Trey is referring to the feelings he felt when proposing to his wife. | |
| Phish – Julius Lyrics | 21 years ago |
