I think the "heaven's dead when you get sad" part means that when you're sad, you feel like anything positive is a lie. The song is about recognizing a person's sadness and sympathizing with them. |

I think this song is about a court case. "Nothing to go on, to grow on, not enough evidence of my soul", "interrogate the truth until you hear what you like". It even sounds a bit anti-authority. |

Wow, nobody's commented on this song. This is one of my favorite Hatebreed songs, and a good fast album opener.
I think it's pretty obvious that the song is about tearing down anything that stands in your way. Hatebreed is all about conquering your obstacles. |
