i heard (yes, that old chestnut!) that the "our old singer is a sex criminal" bit is a dig at their former drummer... with this in mind... 1st verse - said "sex criminal" being a bit of a pretensious dick "note to self, be erect by half-past ten be strong, be proud, be able, be charmed be extended, be in motion, be at loggerheads with chris" 2nd verse - said "sex criminal" being a complete arse, telling people that the rest of them are dicks "note to invading aliens, avoid this town like this town avoided us like murder stalked the valley where this woman used to live bathe and breathe and be murdered bathe and breathe and be murdered" alternativley, a woman got murdered, and they were warning aliens to stay away if they didn't want to get a pasting too... but then the last line seals the deal "she started wondering, where is the profit here?" yes...our "sex criminal" is a money grabbing, glory chasing toss monkey. discuss. |
