Wow! Such enticing sounds are created in the beginning of this song. As soon as I heard that second guitar come in, I knew it was going to be one of my favourites. The lyrics are pretty strange. What is the symbolism of the green gloves that give him power over other people? Is it an alcohol induced fantasy? |

The thought of a girl wetting herself turns me on. ^_- The folks at the NF forums don't like this track too much, but I've always loved this song. You're right, the solo/bridge type thing in it is really awesome. I can't really figure out the meaning of it though, there isn't much to work with. Just from the title I'm guessing it might mean something about trying not to be somebody else, and just be yourself. |

Has anyone heard the acoustic version of this song? It's one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard. There are various meanings scattered about this album. For example, from this very song... There was a frail syrup dripping off His lap danced lapel, punctuated by her Decrepit prowl she washed down the hatching Gizzard soft as a mane of needles His orifice icicles hemorrhaged By combing her torso to a pile Perspired the trophy shelves made room for his collapse She was a mink handjob in sarcophagus heels What I'm getting from it is a seductive woman who tricks her victims into intercourse, then kills them, and enjoy it. "The trophy shelves made room for his collapse" I don't think they are talking literally, but they are saying that she takes much pride in her dirty deeds. |

He doesn't know whether he's coming up or down. Sounds like its about drugs to me. However, Purple Haze definately isn't the best Hendrix track. The Axis was probably my favourite album from him. |

I was at first confused when I read all of you talking about half hour epics. Cassandra, or atleast on my copy of the album, has five listed tracks that probably total up to 15 minutes. Then I realised, when I looked at the lyrics... "I think I've become one of the others" that you must be measuring Cassandra from part B of Miranda That Ghost Just Isn't Holy Anymore, called "Pour Another Icepick". Seeing as Miranda has 4 parts itself, you all must be thinking that Cassandra has an additional 15 minutes, but really, those tracks belong to Miranda. Cassandra A: Tarantism is the first " Cassandra track listed on my album. Unless my copy of the album is strange for some reason, and arranged differently, which I highly doubt. |

I don't even know why anyone can compare this to the Led Zeppelin version. Now, Led Zeppelin and APC are my two favourite bands, believe it or not, and APC's version is a COMPLETELY different song. It has a different mellow feel to it. Its much less harsh than the LZ version. I like both but I like the APC better because Zep had better songs...Since I've been loving you, No Quarter, Dazed and COnfused etc. |

I'm sort of puzzled about this one... "The world's spinning and we're laughing And I'm charming, the devil's charming And we're ruined but we're still building " Its clearly saying how we are/have destroying/destroyed the world, but we don't realize it, and continue with our lives but... "Avalanche, start inside of me Avalanche, down through the trees Avalanche, start inside of me Avalanche, hell down through the trees" Its sort of saying the "avalanche" is inside of him. As though he's falling apart inside himself. Pretty deep I guess. |
